Welcome to our website at Kenwood Farms. We are located in southeastern Indiana near I-74. We had been in the purebred hog and Brangus Cattle business for 30+ years and thought we might semi-retire until we got bit by the BOER GOAT bug. We found out real quick you can't have just one. We have build our Fullblood herd to 50 does and that is where we plan to stay. Our experience in the purebred business helped us put together one of the top herds in the Midwest. We look at the BOER GOAT breeding program like building a house. You need a solid foundation to build on and continue to grow with proper selections of breeding stock from there on. We spent a lot of time and money getting started with the top bloodlines in the breed and feel now we are ready to share them with other breeders whether you are starting a herd or an established breeder. The best thing about this business is making new friends and continue to meet people you already know at the shows and boer goat events. Our goal is to contribute to the boer goat industry and we sure will try with the support of our children and grandchildren.
